+ Both Hands Full

Find five people · start a group chat

Film Club.

The community on-ramp from the keynote. Five people who watch each other's work and give real feedback — not polite feedback.

Started at the BC + AI meetups in Vancouver. Spreading to São Paulo, Brussels, anywhere five people will say yes.

What happens after you sign

Four steps. None of them are a Slack invite.

  1. 01

    You sign the list.

Name, email, where you'd meet. Takes thirty seconds. We don't sell anything. We don't add you to a drip campaign.

  2. 02

    We match you to five.

When we have a critical mass in your city — or a chapter you can join remotely — we open a group chat and put you in it.

  3. 03

    You start watching.

Each other's work. Once a month minimum. Rough cuts, drafts, things you wouldn't show your mother. The point is real feedback, not polite feedback.

  4. 04

    You start a chapter.

When five becomes fifteen, the group splits. New chapter. New chat. Your name on the founding list. The mycelium spreads.

Put your name down.

No cohort dates yet — we open them as chapters reach five. Sign up and we'll write you the moment your city has a room.

we read every note. promise.

  • Five people minimum. Beyond that you stop being a group and start being an audience.
  • Show rough things. Polished work doesn't need the room — your messy work does.
  • Real feedback, not polite feedback. Praise is for after the room.
  • No tools talk for the first thirty minutes. The work, not the workflow.
  • Bring one specific question. Vague asks get vague answers.

What should we call you?

So we can write you back.

City, region, or an existing chapter (Vancouver, São Paulo, Brussels, online…).

What are you working on? What do you want from a film club?

No spam. No upsell. One thoughtful email when the next cohort opens.

Already running a group?

Tell us about your chapter so we can point new signups your way.

Use the same form. Put the city or chapter name in the location field, and use the note to describe how people can join. We'll link you up.
